Surendera Dental College & Research Institute, Sri Ganganagar, proudly organized its Second Convocation Ceremony on 13 December 2025, coinciding with the celebration of 22 glorious years of the institution’s academic journey. The grand and dignified event marked a significant milestone for students, faculty, alumni, and the management, symbolizing dedication, excellence, and institutional pride.
During the ceremony, over 180 Undergraduate and Postgraduate students were awarded their degrees, recognizing years of hard work, discipline, and commitment to the field of dentistry. The convocation stood as a moment of achievement and celebration for graduates stepping into professional careers with confidence and purpose.
The ceremony was graced by several distinguished dignitaries. Dr. Sukhjeet Sarup Chopra, the first Principal of the institute, attended as the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized the importance of ethics, service to society, and lifelong learning in the medical and dental professions.
Other esteemed guests included Shri Prahlad Rai Tak, Chairman of the Shri Yade Mati Kala Board; Shri Gurveer Singh Brar, MLA, Sadulshahar; Shri Nihal Chand Meghwal, Former Union Minister; and Dr. Mohit Tantia, Vice-Chairman, Tantia University. Through their inspiring speeches, they congratulated the graduates, appreciated the institute’s 22-year academic journey, and wished the students a successful and responsible professional future.
The event was further honored by the presence of the Board of Management, including Mrs. Veena Agrawal, Shri Suraj Agrawal (Chairman), Shri Gaurav Gupta (Managing Director), Mrs. Rajni Agrawal, Mrs. Nisha Gupta, and Shri Mihir Agrawal.
The present Principal, Dr. Sandeep Kumar, highlighted the institute’s achievements since its establishment and reaffirmed SDCRI’s commitment to quality dental education, modern infrastructure, and research-driven learning.
A special highlight of the convocation was the participation of alumni, who shared their experiences and memories, inspiring current students.
