Computer Science & Engineering
ABOUT COURSE
Computer Science is the study of computers and computational systems. … Although knowing how to program is essential to the study of computer science, it is only one element of the field. Computer scientists design and analyze algorithms to solve programs and study the performance of computer hardware and software.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
With every business and organization going digital, the IT sector today is a booming field as compared to other sectors and there is a huge demand for Computer Science Engineers and programmers. The demand is so high that IT companies recruit engineers not only from the Computer Science and IT branch but also from other branches like Electrical, Electronics, and Mechanical. However, engineers who have pursued CSE will have an edge over engineers from other streams because of the knowledge and skills they gather in college. There is a huge scope of placements in CSE. It has taken the top position in placements as compared to the other fields.
Programming involves a lot of innovations and students who love programming and designing or have a creative mind with a good understanding of coding can get into CSE and fit in very easily. CSE offers some of the highest-paying jobs not only in India but also outside. Some people do freelancing and get paid very well.

Projects / Survey Camps
Project-based learning (PBL) is a student-centered pedagogy that involves a dynamic classroom approach in which it is believed that students acquire a deeper knowledge through active exploration of real-world challenges and problems. Students learn about a subject by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to a complex question, challenge, or problem. It is a style of active learning and inquiry-based learning. PBL integrates knowing and doing. Students learn knowledge and elements of the core curriculum, but also apply what they know to solve authentic problems and produce results that matter.
Seminars / Workshops / Industrial Visits / Guest Lectures / Conferences
A Graduate degree program is demanding hence arises a dire need to conduct extra activities apart from lectures, tutorials, and laboratories. Activities like Seminars / Workshops / Industrial Visits / Guest Lectures / Conferences etc. help the students to –
- Encourage Dialogue
- Receive a Fresh Perspective
- Develop New Ideas
- Improve Skills
- Create a Network for Career
