Journal of updates in dentistry, an official publication of Surendera Dental College & Research Institute, is a peer reviewed open access online journal with half yearly print. The journal intends to publish high quality manuscript on all effects in the field of dentistry from authors across all the globe. The journal publishes original research paper, review articles, rare & novel case reports and clinical techniques as brief communication. Articles with clinical relevance are given preferences for publication. The journal is indexed with DRJF, scientific indexing services and OAJI. The authors hold the copyright of the editorial content published in the journal. All material can be used in part & full for non – commercial output after providing appropriate attribution to the original content of the journal.

Its scope covers high quality and rationale research pertaining to the benefit of Dental Sciences especially detailing the applied clinical aspects. The journal policies are directed to publish research applicable to the work field of a general dentist; the facts thereby can be utilized for the best welfare of the end users i.e patients. It interacts a wide range of readers throughout  the globe. The journal is committed to publish rare work and abide by international  publication & due standardization.
