Undergraduate Course

Undergraduate students (BDS) start their Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry learning in the Third year of the BDS course which continues into their final year and Internship.

 

The learning is both didactic and clinical. Basics are first taught through lectures and demonstrations on dummies followed by supervised clinical work on patients. .

The complete scope of the subject is taught during the undergraduate course along with clinical training in Local Anesthesia, Simple Exodontia, Restoration of Deciduous and Permanent teeth, Scaling, Patient education, and motivation, etc.
